Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga ita no de, Kokuhaku Shite Mita (LN) V1 Afterword

Afterword

Hello everyone, my name is Suisei.
Thank you very much for reading my work, “Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga ita no de, Kokuhaku Shite Mita.”
This is my first time writing an afterword, so I came up with this after a bit of research to get some inspiration of what to write.

First, I’ll tell you a bit about how my work is created. As a child, I used to suffer from insomnia. One day, I discovered that I could eventually fall asleep by visualizing various stories in my mind. In other words — I’d found a much-needed sleeping method. It took me 10 years to really make it work.

In addition, as an avid reader myself, I found a lot of inspiration in stories about heroes and romance. As a result, thoughts about Youki and the rest of the characters started playing in my mind until the moment I fell asleep. From there, the story began to develop and that was how this story came to be what it is today. And that was how this work was created.

Oh! By the way, I borrowed the name, “Youki” from my friend without him knowing it initially. I didn’t use the exact characters from his name, though, and, don’t worry, I eventually got his permission anyway. Also, when I was reviewing my story, I was surprised to see a character inside that is similar to my friend. It seems like I had unconsciously infused my friend’s personality into the character itself.

Next, let’s discuss my thoughts about Youki in volume one.
In a word, he’s too reckless…
I think Youki might shoot me a retort, saying, “But you’re the one who makes me do all these things!”, but I think we’re both growing and improving in our own way, too.

Finally, I would like to extend my gratitude to all the people who helped me out with this little work of mine:

First, my editor, for not abandoning me despite all the inconvenience I’ve caused during this process. I’m really sorry for all the petty, selfish things I’ve said.
Next is the illustrator, La-na, who drew Youki and the rest. When I first saw the illustrations, I was so moved that I was lost for words. Thank you very much for such great illustrations.
Of course, I can’t forget to thank my family who supported me when I was busy, and my friends, S and T, who helped me with various aspects like the ideas for the story.
And, last but far from least, to all the readers who read my work: thank you very much for tagging along with us in this story. I look forward to meeting you all again, and please remember me well until the next time.
