Just checked again and realize the word “手首” in the raw might be really confusing. When we read it entirely, it’s “wrist” but if you separate both, it would be “hand” and “neck”. Not sure if the author has intended it to be this way or it was meant to be “手と首” which will be more accurate to the light novel’s illustration.
Japanese people typically associate tattoos with yakuza and criminals in general, and have a strong aversion to them. And even before that, they’ve had all kinds of weird cultural uses (branding criminals and the like), tattoos were even banned outright for around a century until World War II.
Even now, it’s not uncommon for people with tattoos to be forbidden entry to bathhouses, gyms and resorts. And you may get some dirty looks if you display them in public. (Though from what I understand and would expect, this stigma is gradually becoming less prominent.)
No, wait, guess I’m wrong, first he says she’s a “young and slender women” then goes on to say she’s “short and cute”, I guess you can take that as a loli type.
Just a word of caution. Make sure you host these images yourself. If you are redirecting the images from another site, they can be tracked down by the parent company through analyzing the redirect traffic, and then you might get his with a cease and desist.
Lovely images by the way. Though Rebecca’s corset is enwrapping the body while hanging the boobs out to dry. Corsets do not work that way.
Huh, the slave mark is on the neck in the LN and the wrist in the WN. I wonder what else is different between the two.

Tatooes are for gangsters in Japan, so most of them frown upon those with tatooes

I honestly imagined an Onee-san type elf priestess not a loli type one xD

I know, right? There wasn’t any mention of her being a loli, he just kept thinking how she’s massively beautiful.

She’s the “Priestess-chan” who helped MC in getting his first blessing in the temple.

for some reason that priestess-chan looks like a heroine more than the other “real” heroine of this LN at that scene :v
